Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Letelier manages a wide variety of problems related to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Dr. Letelier practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Cosmetic Facial Surgery to Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal. He can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of Dental Implant procedures.

Dr. Letelier completed his DDS degree in his native land of Chile, graduating with maximum distinction. He then moved to the United States where he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his DMD degree. After graduating summa cum laude from Tufts University, Dr. Letelier underwent 8 additional years of training. He started with a one year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut dental school. He then joined the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, where he also finished his medical school, summa cum laude and completed a one year general surgery internship. After completing his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery training, Dr. Letelier completed a one year facial and body cosmetic surgery fellowship through The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Letelier is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
